Chautauqua Bright Spots “Helpers” Nomination Form 2019

Fred Rogers once said, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’” Helpers are people who go out of their way to assist others in our community, whether it is within their professional capacity, or as a neighbor or friend. These are the kind of people who do kind things for others without expect anything in return.

We want to recognize the helpers in our community at our events throughout the year.

If you know someone who embodies the Mister Rogers vision of a helper, nominate her, him, or them to become Bright Spots by completing this nomination form.

Our mission is to: empower neighborhoods, groups, and individuals to create positive community change; highlight positive alternatives to harmful behaviors; and build community connectedness to make Chautauqua a healthier place to live, work, and play.
