Youth Information and Referral
Information and Referral sessions (I&R) are intended to provided one on one, tailored, social emotional education and skill development to school aged children. Intervention Specialists meet with the youth to assess risk and protective factors. Based on the assessment, a skill development plan is prepared specific to that youth. I&Rs are typically 3–5 sessions, scheduled a week apart. Topics include but are not limited to:
- Goal Setting
- Communication
- Decision Making
- Managing Emotions
- Bullying
